Frequently Asked
Questions
We understand that life can be busy and that is why South of the River
Music allows and encourages make up lessons.  If you will not be able to
attend a regularly scheduled lesson, simply talk with your teacher to
arrange the make up lesson option that works best for both of you.   There
is no monetary reimbursement for missed lessons but we do offer the
following options;

-You can have a separate lesson to make up the excused lesson.

-You can add time to regularly scheduled lessons. The longer lesson gives
the teacher time to try new concepts, spend a little more time on songs, or
play musical games.

-As a member of South of the River Music, periodically you receive "extra
lessons".  (When a month has 5 weeks of lessons instead of the regular 4
weeks of lessons, that 5th lesson is free of charge and designed to be used
if you miss a lesson due to illness, school functions, vacations, etc. And
don't have time to make that lesson up.)

We try to be as flexible as possible for our students and teachers!
