South of the River Music was created by two music teachers, Angela Fox and Dwight
Harrison. It was their dream to change the face of music education! They wanted
teachers to just do what they love… teach!
We find the students!
One of the most expensive and hardest parts of being a music teacher is building your
student base. We pay for the advertising and find the students for you!
Billing!
We handle all the student billing! No picking up checks or asking the parents for money.
We even pay you if the student doesn’t pay us!
Flat rate pay!
No matter what we charge the student, you still get your regular teaching wage! No
more losing pay because you only get a percentage of the student’s lesson cost! Even if
the student’s lesson is free, you get your regular wage!!
No studio costs!
At South of the River Music, the studio is the student’s home! That means no studio
rental costs and fees for you!
Recitals!
Recitals are such a wonderful experience for both students and teachers, but they can
get really expensive! South of the River Music organizes and completely pays for 2
recitals a year!!

We have a full time teacher liaison on staff that is dedicated solely to our teachers!
